Message from Meet Management:

Welcome to the 2024 adidas Cross Country Challenge! This event represents an early season test of the long weeks of summer training that have laid the foundation for the challenging cross country season that lies ahead. We hope that this event provides a fun race setting that also serves the athletes in preparation for the latter portion of the season. The 2023 edition of the event marked the 11th year of this edition of this long standing event in the Raleigh area (previous the Wolfpack Invitational). With the championship cup award being added to the meet, the top boys and girls program coming from the championship race is recognized with this unique trophy cup that will remain with the team for until the following year. In 2023, the Championship Cup was awarded to Hoggard High School (Wilmington, NC), as only one of three schools that placed boy teams in the top-10, they claimed the award for the first time by placing 5th in the Girls Championship and finishing 6th in the Boys Championship race. The question for 2024, is there a boy’s and girl’s team that will challenge the reigning champions as the outstanding program?

We look forward to seeing everyone at the 2024 adidas Cross Country Challenge on September 20th and 21st.
